The UnfilteredPixel manifesto

No cloud prompt API. No hosted filter.
Local generation first.

UnfilteredPixel is a local, browser-native image studio. No account, no UnfilteredPixel prompt server or hosted moderation pipeline. Here is the thinking behind it.

01

Principle 01

Your machine is enough

Modern browsers run real diffusion models on your own GPU through WebGPU. The compute that used to demand a datacenter now fits in a tab — No prompt upload to UnfilteredPixel, no queue on a hosted image server, no monthly bill.

02

Principle 02

The cloud became the gatekeeper

Hosted image tools can carry someone else's content policy, account enforcement, and server-side processing. UnfilteredPixel keeps the prompt path local to your browser instead.

03

Principle 03

We don't want your data

No UnfilteredPixel account or prompt API is part of this app. Your prompts never reach a server of ours; model and runtime hosts may still receive ordinary file requests.

04

Principle 04

No hosted moderation layer

There is no UnfilteredPixel-hosted moderation layer between your prompt and the local model. What you create remains your responsibility.

05

Principle 05

Local. Private. Yours.

Prompts and generated images stay in your browser. Model and runtime files are downloaded from public hosts and may be cached locally by your browser.
